Steve Saluto is one of our more active and propositive endorsers, playing and recording with artists and projects from the US and Europe.
Some months ago he came up with a new guitar project:
“I always had the wish of having an instrument with a look at the same time Vintage and aggressive, that sonically could offer versatility to follow me in any kind of situation I step into.Being a “no frills” guy I never rely on effects but more direct “plug and play” attitude, so my sound depends mostly on the raw instrument. Then I wish to have something very trustworthy and reliable.I discussed this with Andrea, and the “Silver Skull Legend” project was born.”
The guitar is an Electravibe model, semiacoustic with extra multichambering on the central block to maximize the resonating and “hollowtonic” tone profile. It features a set neck and the usual Manne features for neck and fretboard. The finish is silverfoil applied by hand and antiqued. Then all hardware was distressed and aged for a perfect “bad-ass” finish look. Two silver skulls were embedded in the front headstock and upper body bout.
Steve: “I am satisfied 100% ; a big sound, right at the right time.”
