SWD is a new line of Manne instruments, produced from scratch in our shop in Schio, Italy, which will be distributed in brick and mortar shops by Soundwave distribution. Although sold at a slightly lower price point, these instruments were developed from existing models, and will include Manne-quality essential features including looks/style, feel, performance and tone.
Acustivibe SWD offers the great blendable magnetic and piezo sound combination developed over twenty years, the reliability of the laminated neck core construction with the exclusive Manne’s recipe, and the performance of the unique robust acoustic sound reproduction engineered for this project. The woods are all Italian species, including Italian poplar for the top, Italian sycamore for the body and a combination of Italian maple and laminated beech for the super-stable composite neck.
T-Bone SWD is a solid axe with the playability for which Manne instruments are renowned. Developed together with tone guru Marco Fanton, this instrument incorporates all of the features of a hard working reliable instrument, with two versions: SSH with two singlecoils and a humbucker at bridge in a washed-red color, and HH with two humbuckers in washed-gray. Again, Italian maple and laminated beech are combined for the composite neck. Italian chestnut for the body is harvested from the woods surrounding Schio, in the “piccole dolomiti”, the smallest certified wood area in the world.
Prices in Europe are 1.899,00 euros for Acustivibe SWD and 1.799,00 euros for T-Bone SWD
