Wood can be coloured or left natural on our instruments.
We like to suggest the best use of each piece of wood to get out the most from all of them. Walnut and Italian Yew are always kept natural.

The poplar pieces that has most intense flaming are the one that will give the best looking when coloured due to a strong contrast between flames. On the other way usually the pieces that looks very nice when natural give not a good result when coloured as there is not so much contrast between flames.
