Manne instruments are made following the standard specifications and the options listed under each specific models, but can also be customized to suit your needs. We can build special projecs like a 10 strings guitar (nylon or electric) or a fretless 7 string lefthand bass, just enquiry with us your idea.
All customization on Mannedesign instruments are excluded.
Here are some features you can define thru a custom order.

Customization requested will be charged under our extras price list or quoted individually.
We strongly discourage the request for pick-ups or hardware not listed on our components page.
We experienced delays, misunderstanding, errors that are not in our style.
They will anyway eventually be carged to the the full cost of the instrument.

Neck Our standard thickness are:
Guitar:

20mm at half of 1° fret, 22mm at half of 18°.
(we can reduce up to to 18 - 20)

Bass: One mm more than the guitars :
21mm at half of 1° fret, 23 at half of 18°.
(we can reduce up to 19,5 - 21,5)
Neck-body joint bolt-on or set-in. neck thru on demand. The feature is well specified for each model but it can be done on request with a extra charge.
Pick-ups See Guitar Pick-ups or Bass Pick-ups
Every model feature a specific standard pick-up as describetd in the page.
The guitar configurations SSH, SSS, HH, HSH can be choosen at the same price.
The bass configurations can be changed from the model's standard at request.
Bridge See Guitar Bridges or Bass Bridges
Each model features its standard bridge.
Tuners See Guitar Tuners or Bass Tuners
Each model features its standard tuners
Circuit Passive circuits on all Guitars and basses or Active circuit for Bass.
Passive circuits features the volume and tone both push-pull to switch the series-parallel connections of the humbuckers (or minihumbuckers) at neck and bridge if available.
The positioning of knobs and selectors will follows our classic layout, exept if specifically requested.
Colour Standard colours for each model. see the other available colours
Finish Hi-gloss or satin on each every colour available.
Hand rubbed finish only with specified colours available.
Every model has its own each finish. Other finishes will be available on request.
String Set Guitar: .010 , available also .009 -.011
Bass : .045 , available also .040, .130 for the B string and .030 for hi C string.

Custom fretboard Inlay It is possible to engrave your signature or a logo on the fretboard.
The signature should be made inside a rectange of 45x15mm rectange for the 12° fret or a rectange 50x6mm for the 24° fret, scanned and saved to .SVG or .JPG file and sent via email.
The logo to be engraved on the fret references should have a maximum 40x25 mm format (3rd fret) and if will be resized progressively to fit all the successive references. The actual dimensions on fretboard can vary to fit and harmonize the design into the fretboard. The engraves will be made in ivory-white colour.

Custom printing available just for Ventura and Newport Instruments.
Download the Guitar shape or the bass shape, work on it leaving the graphic go further the contour and possibly save the contour and graphics on separate layers in .AI file format or PDF.


At the time of the definition of all the features we will create an orderform with detailed list of features and the price for it.
You can send us the list of preferences via mail o set up the orderform ORDER FORM.XLS, or print
the ORDER FORM.PDF , write down the features, scan it and send it via mail .
