    I say I really would have a strum right now, but sticking with the design of the piece only (I know it’s not the point of such an instrument, but we’re Italians after all…) it has gos something that clashed, in my humble opinion.

    Probably the round hole makes recognizable the idea of an acoustic guitar, but it looses on fresheness. I would have played with sigltly diffent shape (the German “Alien” is a good example). The wooden knobs want to remark this “woodyness”, but…

    Anyway, it’s a great instruments like all Andreas’ ones!

      This instrument, as said on its specific page, is an extension of the idea on the AcustiVibe guitar. So is a Acoustic “folk” bass (with an acoustic body), build to get that tone (or tune it on specific requests), avoiding its problems. People ask me to build one upright and I think I would build it with a thinner shape. If you don’t like the “soundhole” I can build it just with piezo and no soundhole. This is an idea and a project on a way to build it to get a sound, open to many variations up to the bassist requests. I really don’t like the idea that I sell an instrument because it has wooden knobs. Those discriminations are for fetishists. The substance is what I look for, then I can adapt the bass to the preference. Thansk Marco!!
